Gold, other jewellery, diadem (A.10.1)

Description
A long, narrow strip of thin metal, torn and uneven at its ends and edges, lies across a grey card mount. Its surface is embossed with a repeated pattern of upward-curving arched motifs separated by vertical ridges. Light and shadow pick out the raised forms and the creased, worn surface.
