Hellenistic roman Mersinaki Terracotta limestone (Me. 1068. S)

Description

A standing stone figure seen in side profile on a low wooden plinth with a white-painted base against a plain grey wall. The rounded head shows one ear, one arm is bent with a clenched hand raised near the chest, and the other arm hangs at the side. The pale surface is worn, and part of the face on the far side has broken away, leaving a dark break line.
