Standing draped figure from Mersinaki in grey terracotta limestone, on a rough irregular base — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05555. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A standing figure with curled hair and a worn face wears a long draped garment that falls to the feet. One arm hangs at the side while the other hand rests at the waist, and the figure stands on an irregular rocky base. The pitted grey-brown surface shows some wear, with a small blue mark on the drapery and a number label at the right edge of the photograph.
