Description

A small jug with a rounded body, a tall neck, a flared mouth and a strap handle, standing on a ring foot. The dark glaze has many small flaked areas that show the paler clay beneath. On the left side of the body a figure is painted in profile, with the head, a raised arm and draped clothing picked out in pale colour against the dark ground.
