Description

A carved stone head in right profile stands on a dark cylindrical base. The hair or headdress rises in a tall, layered mass with ridged strands sweeping back over the crown and partly covering the ear. The face has a straight nose, full lips and a firm chin, and the pale surface looks worn, with a faint blue mark near the ear.
