Faint, washed-out photograph of an irregular fragment from Amathus, mounted on a beige card — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05360g. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A pale grey, blurred photograph of a single irregular fragment, with darker edges and a lighter, mottled interior, set on a white ground. The print is mounted on a beige card, and a handwritten mark appears along the lower edge. Surface, material and form are hard to make out because of the low contrast.
