Pottery Black Slip Ware, jug (L.702.50)

Description
A pottery jug with a wide, rounded body and a flared mouth, its dark surface worn to paler patches in places. A tall loop handle on the right ends in a flattened top with a small pierced hole, and a small pierced lug projects from the left side. Horizontal grooves run around the upper body, with a rope-like raised band below them, and the jug stands on a light surface against a plain grey backdrop.
