Pottery White Painted III-2 (L.702.70)

Description
A round-bodied jug with a tall neck, a strap handle rising from the shoulder to the rim, and a small lug on the shoulder. The pale clay surface is decorated with dark painted bands: horizontal lines on the neck, a cross-hatched lattice panel across the belly, and curving stripes and horizontal bands around the base. The jug is photographed against a plain grey background with a soft shadow beneath it.
