Pottery Black Slip Ware (L.702.77)

Description

A round-bodied vessel with a narrow neck, a pinched lip on one side and a tall strap handle rising from the shoulder to the rim on the other. Shallow incised lines run across the neck and shoulder, and the dark surface shows lighter worn and encrusted patches. It is photographed alone against a plain grey background.
