Description

A sculpted head with a flat, worn crown, a broad nose, a heavy brow and one deep-set eye, its mouth set in a firm line. The beard and side locks are built up from rows of rounded knobs, and the grey surface is rough and chipped in places. The head stands on a pale base against a plain light backdrop, photographed three-quarter view from the front.
