Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04585. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A head in terracotta shown in right profile against a pale backdrop, its surface rough and worn in places. It has a long, pointed projection where the nose would be, a modelled ear, and a headband of raised leaf-like shapes across the crown. The neck ends in a flat, broken base, and the head sits on a light surface.
