Description

An oval object, probably an engraved seal or gem, is shown enlarged and fills most of the frame on a pale card mount. Its face carries curving raised and incised lines with a dark outer rim, arranged in bands that meet and cross toward the centre and lower part. The image is soft and the surface looks worn, so the finer detail is hard to read.
