Description

A dark, heavily corroded object with a rough, pitted surface and an irregular outline fills most of the picture, and its form is hard to make out. Light flecks show across the uneven surface, and a dark rectangle sits at the left edge of the pale card it is mounted on. The object lies flat on the card.

Description, scan 2
A grey-toned print mounted on a cream card shows a corroded iron object, an irregular fragment about twice as long as it is high. Its surface is pitted and encrusted with pale and dark patches, with a raised lump at the upper left and ragged broken edges. No scale is visible, and handwritten marks appear along the bottom edge of the card.
