Description
A carved marble head is shown in three-quarter view, turned toward the right of the frame, against a dark background. The hair is rendered in rows of wavy, parallel grooves swept back above the forehead and over the ear, and the face has a smooth surface with defined eyelids and a full mouth. The neck ends abruptly at the lower edge of the frame.
