Terracotta Minor Plastic (So. 403)

Headless terracotta figurine fragment from Soli with a flared, vertically folded lower body — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04228a. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A broken terracotta figurine stands upright on a pale surface against a plain grey backdrop. The head and upper body are missing, leaving a jagged opening at the top, while the lower body flares into a rounded base with vertical folds. A shallow contour of a shoulder or arm shows on the left side, and handwritten notes run along the bottom edge of the mounted print.
