Marble Sculpture (So.461a)
Description
A broken marble fragment stands on a pale surface against a plain grey backdrop. Its top is rough and broken, with a rounded raised form in the centre above a dark recessed slot. On the right, a carved stepped profile with smooth planes rises from the block, and the lower part has a pitted, worn surface.
