Excavation at the palace at Vouni, with stones and trees

Description
Walls of roughly dressed stone and large squared blocks line a narrow trench running down the middle of an excavated area. Loose rubble lies scattered across the ground, with a stepped course of cut stone at right. Beyond, a low ridge of ruins and a tree stand against a pale sky.
