Marble Sculpture (So.532)

Description
Front view of a marble sculpture: a head with hair combed over the forehead and falling down past the ears onto the shoulders, set on a bust with a draped edge. The face is worn, with the nose and mouth eroded and the surface pitted. Thin blue pencil lines mark breaks or joins, and the piece stands on a pale card against a plain grey background.
