Excavation at Amathus with stones

Description
A deep, dark rectangular cutting is seen from above, with pale, crumbly soil banks on the near and far sides. Along the left side, a light stone or rough block projects from the earthen wall, and a few larger stones lie at the top of the far bank. No people, tools or finds are visible; the view is down into the cut.
