Excavation at Amathus with stones

Description
A stepped excavation at Amathus is seen from above, with earth sections rising on the left and along the right side. Several small squared stones sit in a line along a ledge in the cut, and a lower rectangular pit opens in the centre foreground. The soil is dry and stony, with loose pebbles scattered over the surfaces.
