Excavation at Kythrea: stone construction

Description
Low walls of rough stone blocks outline a room-like enclosure in an excavated area on dry, stony ground. Inside the walls the soil has been cleared to a lower level, with loose stones and a short upright stake visible. A heap of excavated earth lies at the left, and beyond the site a wide, flat landscape with low hills stretches to the horizon under a pale sky.
