Excavation at Vouni Palace, people and stones

Description
A rough stone wall of irregular blocks climbs the slope across the top of the frame. In the foreground a large weathered rock stands beside a dark hollow beneath a fallen slab, with loose stones and bare soil around it. Two small figures stand near the top centre of the hillside, and a few shrubs grow on the skyline.
