Excavation at the palace at Vouni

Description
An excavated area of rough stone and rubble, with a tree standing on the left against a pale sky. In the foreground a round, plastered opening sits sunk into the bare ground, its curved rim raised above the surface and a dark hollow inside. Larger rock blocks and broken stone lie around it and along the nearby ground.
