Excavation at Nitovikla, with rocks and stones

Description
A narrow excavated trench runs away from the camera between two high banks of earth and loose stones, some set into the faces of the walls. Small wooden stakes stand along the top edges, and a dark scrubby bush sits at the far end. Beyond, a flat valley floor with a cluster of low buildings leads to rolling hills under a pale sky.
