Description

A long wall of rough, flat-faced stones runs diagonally across the right of the frame, its courses stepping up the slope. Beside it a narrow dirt path runs toward the distance between earth banks on the left, and a dry plant grows from the top of the wall. The sky fills the upper left of the frame.

Description, scan 2
A long wall of roughly squared, stacked limestone blocks runs diagonally from the lower right toward the middle distance, with a rough dirt path running alongside it. On the left a bank of loose earth and stones rises, and on the right the wall's top is partly covered by rubble and soil. A dry shrub or stump stands on top of the wall in the background against a pale sky.
