Tomb 49 at Marion, during excavation

Description
A rock-cut tomb pit seen from above, with a sloping earth wall behind and beside it. Two small pale vessels sit in the floor at the upper left, with a further pale rounded object near the centre and another within a narrow cut. A large pile of rough stones fills the foreground, and the floor is dry, loose earth.
