Description

Looking down into an excavated pit cut into pale, layered earth, with a dark floor. Three large round-bodied jars stand together in the lower left, and a scatter of small vessels, including bowls, cups, jugs and a few lamp-like forms, lies across the floor. Loose stones and broken sherds are visible along the edges and in the foreground.
