Description

A wide, shallow river flows diagonally through the frame from the distance toward the lower right. On the left, a dense row of tall, slender trees lines the bank above a steep earth slope, and a pebbled shore runs along the near left edge. On the right, the bank is dark, uneven earth with small pools of standing water and a few scattered stones.

Description, scan 2
A wide stream flows diagonally from the distance toward the foreground, with a dense row of tall, slender trees along the left bank. In the lower left, loose rounded stones and pebbles line the water's edge, while the right bank is a low, eroded slope of earth and stones. Shallow pools and channels reflect the pale sky.
