Excavation at Plakes, Lapithos, with stones

Description

Looking down into a round, deep excavated shaft, its earthen sides showing layers of soil and a dark opening cut into the wall at right. Loose stones sit along the left edge and bottom left of the frame, on a flat, dusty ground surface.
