Description

A narrow, deep cutting is seen from above, with steep earth walls on both sides and a dark recess at the back. A cluster of rounded stones is piled against the left-hand wall, and the light bank in the foreground runs across the top of the cutting. No people are present, and the view is fairly close to the trench.
