Description

A man in a dark jacket and trousers sits on a large stone block at the top of a low wall, looking towards the camera. Behind him a small wooden cart stands on a track, and to his right a flight of stone steps descends to a shallow pool of still water that reflects him and the masonry. Rough stone walling continues to the left, with a pale stone and a dark wooden object nearby.
