Vouni Palace topography with a tent and a tree

Rocky open ground at Vouni with a lone tree, a canvas tent on the right and scattered stones and objects — Photograph: John Lindros, Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1928–29. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C00496. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A stony, open ground surface under a flat grey sky, with a single tree standing near the centre and low hills far behind it. A canvas tent with taut guy ropes fills the right edge, and a pale upright stone, a long wrapped bundle and a stack of flat boxes or blocks lie on the ground in the foreground.
