Terracotta Minor Plastic Animals (So.6)

Fragment of a terracotta figurine, possibly an animal, shown against a black background — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C00283c. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A pale, irregular terracotta fragment photographed against a black background. Its surface is smooth and slightly worn, with a rounded upper part, a raised lump near the top and a broken, uneven lower edge. The modelling suggests a curved, hand-sized form, but the fragment is too incomplete to confirm it as an animal.
