Theatre at Soli: stone steps during excavation

Description
A narrow cutting with earthen walls on both sides leads up to a flight of stone steps, with a worn floor in the foreground. The steps rise toward the back of the frame and appear to be cut from or laid in a pale stone. The sides of the cutting show soil layers with pebbles and stones embedded in them.
