Description

A deep, narrow rectangular cutting runs down into pale earth, its sides cut vertically and dark soil and shadow filling the lower part. A large rounded stone lies against the right-hand wall near the bottom, and loose stones are scattered at the base. Spoil heaps and broken sherds lie on the ground at the upper right, with scrubby vegetation along the edge.
