Man in a cap brushing pottery among finds during excavation
Description
A man in a flat cap and waistcoat crouches on the earth floor of a tomb chamber, holding a vessel and a small brush as he works on it. Around him lie several jugs, a shallow bowl, a small pot and small cardboard boxes, with a metal lantern beside a large two-handled jar on the right. Large vessels are cut off along the bottom edge of the frame.
