Description

A deep excavated cut with a sloping, stepped floor runs across the frame between earth banks. Several rocks and stone blocks lie in the hollow in the middle, and a stone wall runs along the top of the picture behind the trench. At the upper right, a wooden frame and several tools, including a long-handled implement, lie on the ground beside the cut.
