Description
Close view of a mosaic floor made of small stone tesserae in muted pinks, greys and tans. At left a grey animal with long ears faces left above a reddish-brown ground with a dark plant stem. At right a figure in a pale pink garment stands among dark curling tendrils, and a damaged hole interrupts the upper centre of the design.
English
A section of a floor mosaic with small tesserae shows a hare or rabbit with raised ears at left, beside a stylised plant. A human figure in a long garment appears at right among scrolling vine-like tendrils.
