Description

A line of columns with carved capitals runs across the middle distance, some standing and some broken, with a paved surface before them. Ruined stone walls stretch to the left, and a glimpse of sea shows beyond them. Dense green trees and shrubs fill the right side and foreground, under an empty blue sky.

English

Rows of tall, slender columns with carved capitals stand among low ruined walls at the ancient site of Salamis near Famagusta. Green shrubs grow in the foreground and trees line the background under a clear blue sky.
