Sixth-form trip around the island

Description
About two dozen young men are grouped closely on a gravel path, with some seated or crouching at the front and others standing behind and to the sides. Many wear light shirts, and a few wear jackets. Behind them, a steep slope rises in long horizontal tiers of earth and grass, with more scrubby hillside above.
English
English School sixth-formers pose on a gravel path at the ancient theatre of Soloi during their trip round the island in June 1957. Several sit at the front while others stand behind, some in jackets and ties.
