Description

A white marble statue of a standing female figure fills the frame, shown from the chest to the upper thighs. The head has a wrapped or bundled hairstyle and a fabric band falls over the right shoulder, while the arms are broken away at the shoulders. The plain dark drape behind the figure makes the pale stone stand out sharply.

English

A marble statue of a female figure, headless below the hair and missing parts of the arms, stands against a dark drape. The figure has a rounded hairstyle with a cloth or wrap draped over the shoulder.
