Description

Around fifteen people crowd together on a stony ledge, most in dark suits or dresses and many wearing sunglasses. A man on the right extends his arm toward the ruins, and a child stands in the foreground. Behind them rises a steep face of large, weathered stone blocks against a pale sky.

English

A group of men and women in suits, dresses and sunglasses stands on a rise beside rough stone ruins at Salamis. Vassos Karageorghis of the Department of Antiquities leads the tour, and one man on the right gestures toward the ruins while the others look on.
