Description

A flight of wide, shallow steps is cut into a pale rock outcrop and rises diagonally across the centre of the view. Grass grows on several treads, and a bare, branching shrub stands in the foreground on the right. Dense trees and a thin line of bare trunks fill the background under an overcast sky, while loose stones lie scattered on the ground at the lower left.

English

Rock-cut steps lead up a rough limestone outcrop, with dry grass on their treads and a leafless shrub in the foreground. Tall trees stand behind the steps against a pale sky.
