Description

Looking down from a hillside, the eye falls on rows of curved stone seats on the right, arranged in a half-circle around an open area. Low walls and scattered blocks lie on the left and in the centre, while cultivated fields, scattered trees and a few buildings stretch across the plain. Beyond, the coast curves along a wide bay where several small boats are at anchor.

English

The curved rows of stone seating of the Greek theatre at Soli descend toward a stage area of low walls and scattered blocks. Morphou Bay and its small anchored boats lie beyond the fields.
