Description

Tall columns with capitals recede in two rows down a flat, open lane toward the far end of the site. In the foreground on the right, a broken column stands beside stone blocks and a low drum, while a stacked block wall rises on the left. Scrubby trees and a clear sky close the background. No people are visible.

English

A long colonnade of standing columns lines a paved lane at Salamis, the lane that leads to the Roman latrines. Stacked stone blocks and a fallen column drum lie in the foreground.
