- 20 July 1848With John Wilkinson sold in London the antiquities of 'M. B*** D***, consigned from Paris' (catalogue p. 4, lot 22 included a marble head of Venus said to be from Kition, formerly Benjamin Delessert's). The annotated British Library copy records the buyer as 'Rutter', not further identified; the head has not been relocated.
