Life and work
- 7 November 1892First extant letter from Ohnefalsch-Richter to Bosse, asking for imperial funding for a new campaign in Cyprus; more letters followed until funding was obtained in 1893.
- 1894Ohnefalsch-Richter's Idalion excavations were commissioned by the Emperor; Ohnefalsch-Richter names Dr. Bosse, Secretary of State for Public Instruction, as his immediate superior.
