    Dismissed by Edmond Duthoit during the 1862 Vogue mission dig at Dali, who wrote to Vogue 'J'ai du chasser Procope ces jours-ci qui est un voleur des plus fins' (I had to drive out Procope these days, who is a most subtle thief). Part of Duthoit's general complaint that he was robbed by everyone, Greeks and Europeans.
