Life and work
- 3 July 1953 – 27 July 1953On leave from the Sudan, conducted a trial excavation at Site F, north of the 'Temple', investigating an ashlar wall and pavement; final section showed occupation from Hellenistic to recent with much medieval; unpublished. In 1975 the structures were identified as part of the sanctuary's North Hall.
KoukliaMaier 1997
- 1953Megaw's 1953 survey reports that Shinnie carried out an extension of the Kouklia expedition's work to the north of the sanctuary area (sought Bronze Age structures, found none); removing a late mosaic pavement revealed an earlier Roman level but no earlier remains.
