Life and work

    With Socrates Stylianou and Markos Elevtheriou (both of Episkopi) rifled a tomb at Kaloriziki below Kourion; they sold some finds locally and took the rest to Larnaca, to the house of his friend Constantinos Grammenopoulos, where the police caught them and confiscated two bronze tripods, the rim and handles of a bronze vase and the gold and enamel sceptre (McFadden); Given adds the finds sat in the Customs House for ten years. The objects went to the Cyprus Museum in 1912.
